Hello! My name is Alice and I am the webmaster of Voices On A String.
I started listening to Thursday in 2020 and ever since then I have considered them my favourite band. I am lucky enough to have seen Thursday twice and would count each of those times as being the best concerts and days of my life. By going to Thursday shows and being in online communities, I have met friends I would have never had the courage to speak to before! My favourite album is War All The Time, even though it changes all the time, and my favourite songs include, Turnpike Divides, Dying In New Brunswick, The Other Side Of The Crash/ Over And Out (Of Control) and so many more.

My main site is Alice In Avocado Land and while I do post about Thursday there sometimes, I wanted to make a place dedicated solely to the band. I hadn't seen any other modern fan sites about Thursday and wanted a place where fans could celebrate the band away from the restrictions of social media. Sadly, in the current digital age, most fan communities exist on modern social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit, which allow for little to no customisation and are home to a whole host of problems I'm sure you are aware of if you have ever been a part of one. Although this page isn't much of a 'community hub' I would like to add more fan-centric elements in the future, let me know if you have any ideas.
